HIVE is multimedia project; part installation and part band, utilizing modular synthesis, sound design and acoustic instruments in live performance. This introduces a new element to my projects for which the music has been alluding to: a visual narrative counterpart and the creation of environments.

I enlisted the help of Danish architect & carpenter Uffe Surland Van Tams to design and fabricate five massive, custom built wooden platforms. Myself and Ben Vida (PAN records) and 3 percussionists, Yuri Yamashita, Jared Soldiviero and John Ostrowski, will each be perched a top their own individual HIVE pod.

REWORK_Philip Glass Remix Album has been released.  It features a remix I did of his piece Rubric from his ground-breaking record Glassworks, released in 1982 .

Very very excited to announce 2 special shows this fall:

Philip Glass and I will be performing as a duo at this fall’s ATP. It’s curated by The Afghan Whigs and will be the first ATP in NYC. We will be headlining the first night of the festival Sept 21st.

The London Sinfonietta and my Central Market core group will be performing  Central Market + at Ether Fest at Southbank / Queen Elizabeth Hall in London on October 9th along with a great works by Ingram Marshall, Edgard Varèse, Toru Takemitsu and Bryce Dessner. *Leo Hussain conducting all works but Central Market, Caleb Burhans conducts Central Market*
